kilo_3_8 Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 For some reason my ATGM will not fire. I am getting laser lock with the guns and Muti-Rockets. But when I switch to ATGM, monitor will show distance and "TA", but I get no "C" on the monitor allowing me to fire. All buttons are as instructed: laser stand-by, Grd. Targets, (Enter) until it locks, box is locked on, but still nada. What could be the problem?

nemises Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Make sure to use the correct fire button.. man... this should be in the FAQ...there is a different button to fire cannon and weapons on external hardpoints.. Unsure of default key setups sorry, but look under keys "INS Cyclic" , you should find it...

Tango Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 Hi, Be sure also to align the helicopter before firing. If you are not aligned with the target they will not fire. The circles must be overlapped in the HUD before you can actually fire. Best regards, Tango.

If in auto mode 7K or closer and looking strait at the target. You can also switch to manual mode to fire but your likely to miss alot. If the vicker does not fly into the laser the reciver in the tail of the missle it wont track and just fall to the ground at about 3K out. For a 98% hit ratio use the auto mode. once you have that down you can use the manual mode for extream needs that the standard attack wont work. good luck PS how are you ED tester?
