Ddg1500 Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago hello, recently I bought a new trackir set, my previous one is dead. After i finish the adjustment, i realize that when look right or left backward, where you can fully see the vertcial tail, the view would shake glitchily, even when your trackir view is still in full detection, and that's a big problem, very uncomfortable There is no such problem in f14, or other, so far only in f18, haven't test in f16, Haven't got a track file yet, but i gurantee you guys can replicate it, just look full back left or right and you will know what i mean.
Hiob Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago I’m pretty sure that comes down to settings (curves) in TrackIR (provided that the tracking definitely isn’t lost by turning your head too much). Try to adjust the gain on yaw axis in TrackIR….. "Muß ich denn jedes Mal, wenn ich sauge oder saugblase den Schlauchstecker in die Schlauchnut schieben?"

Ddg1500 Posted 16 hours ago Author Posted 16 hours ago turning right is still pretty uncomfortable, still some shake, need more tunning

This is a prime example of WHY there are so many ask for a trackfile. I CANNOT reproduce. As Hiob said, it's all about tweaking your curves. If you're using a TIR PRO (with LED's) make sure your camera isn't centred in front front of your face but moved toward whichever side of your head the LED's are on. That will give you a bigger range to play with.

Make sure that when you look straight ahead the camera is aligned with your markers. The offset when you move your head should be the same in all directions (if possible). I can almost guarantee this is a TIR issue as well. I was simply pointing out that while people like to guarantee they don't need a trackfile because it's so easy to reproduce the problem, quite often it's not.
