The GBU now takes out all of the infantry as well, meaning the CBU misses, then when -1 attacks the remaining APC, she just goes dark and says nothing ...

There is a patch coming in the next update to fix that. At some point rebel APC and GBUs got too powerful and took out way too many and wrong enemies breaking the mission. 

So should be fixes unless something else is changed by ED once again

@Sandman Simulations I just tried it again, and got a little further this time ... however

as the helo's did their thing they "exploded" after their attack on the camp and i got the court-martial message

The patch should also prevent Russians from killing themselves. Hope they don't find any new suicidal way to do it.

2nd try they attacked the camp but DCS crashed

So the Helo's were working for me (just finished), but the landing is the same -1 just orbits, and doesn't seem to go into the break, until after I land is -1 waiting to get to fuel minimums ?

You had the same problem with mission four. As I have never had that problem and haven't been able to replicate I have no idea what could cause that. Number one has unlimited fuel so can't be that. Do you have any unofficial mods installed?

It seems that Russian helos are still hitting ground once in a while causing mission to fail. As it seems there is no way to stop them doing that only option is to set them immortal until cleared to engage. Then they can still keep flying even after hitting ground couple of times.

Still wasn't able to reproduce landing problem. Just checking you are not using build in DCS communication menu to contact the carrier? That could cause number one to stay in the stack.
