ok Ive had Trackir forever but never really gave it much of a chance to be honest.

While looking at the producers notes and seeing the guy look round and it looks very very smooth - and I need to get that help while flying!

Mine I guess is pretty old now - Trackir 3 with vector expansion.

Can somebody take a snapshot of there settings as I cant really get a slow smooth response from it.....

First thing to try - open the Track IR software ( make sure you have checked for game updates ) . Just use the default profile, and select " precision " mode, which is done by pressing F7. This is actually a slower movement with a little more deadzone. I myself prefer to fly with my Track IR4 in precision mode. Also get used to the centering command, which is F12. You will use it on occasion whilst you fly. I have mine mapped to a button on my stick.

Once you get used to it, you will find you cannot fly without it.

Yeah its better... But just slower. There's still a dead spot towards straight on but still not really smooth looking... Maybe I adjust the curve.

I've mapped the cougar so that when I hit the quick startup it also enables the precision button to be pressed
