mdee Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 Hi! I have a little problem, when I use hat on my x52 to pan around, it's too fast - is there any way to slow it down? (I have it mapped to view pan slow by default). Thanks!
Invader_Dlorge Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 Does anyone have a solution? I'm having the same problem. Thanks
Boulund Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 (edited) I did it by assigning (in SST) the different POV-direction as the button press for panning. For example: 4-way POV: POV up := [button for panning up] (press and release within 0.125s) POV down := [button for panning down] (press and release within 0.125s) POV right := [button for panning right] (press and release within 0.125s) POV left := [button for panning left] (press and release within 0.125s) Playing around with this timer will increase or decrease your panning speed. Prophet4no1 Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 I would like mine a tad faster. I want a trackIR... It would make life easier. :( [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Boulund Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 It sure does! Either buy a TrackIR new, used or go for one of the cheaper (but not as good) options like FreeTrack, Cachya or something like that. If you're talking about Black Shark then you know you can use the mouse for looking around right? It works very well imo Core i5-760 @ 3.6Ghz, 4GB DDR3, Geforce GTX470, Samsung SATA HDD, Dell UH2311H 1920x1080, Saitek X52 Pro., FreeTrack homemade cap w/ LifeCam VX-1000, Windows 7 Professional x64 SP1. steve2112 Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 BTW pressing LCTRL + ] slows down pan speed. I get sick when I play with TrackIR, so I don't use it. old thread but i'm in the same boat, don't like all the random panning in facetreacknoir (maybe i should get trackir but not convinced) so i tried LCtrl+] which works but then that's too slow. you'd think there was a parameter somewhere to control it?
