159th_Spetz Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 I just reinstalled BS on a Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit machine, and noticed that the mouse, when left stationary, moves to the right, about an inch at a time, about every 10-20 seconds. Does anyone else have this problem or know what could be doing this ? It was fine before I installed the game.
TKMR Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Bug in Windows? I would experience that occasionally in Win XP, my mouse would randomly jump around. Try clearing the area around the optical sensors of your mouse too, hair gets in there and screws things up. You probably already did that though. Lead Admin/Founder of Kilo-Tango Gaming Community
speed-of-heat Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 the only time i have seen this type of behavior it has been related to either mouse sensor or multiple mouse devices, like a track pad or when i have my microstick configured ro act as a mouse and it's not quite centred, etc... 159th_Spetz Posted September 20, 2009 Author Posted September 20, 2009 Hmm..didn't think about my ministick on my X52. I check that out, might explain why it still happens even when I unplug my G5.
Martillo1 Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 It also happens to me. Standard procedure: After loading Windows (Vista64), move the X52 mouse to left<->right & up<->down until the drift disappears. Vista, Suerte y al Toro! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Feuerfalke Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 You can also change deadbands in the Saitek-setup, so you don't have to center your ministick each time.
