RazorbackNL Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 I made a cyclic out of a car drive shaft. The U-joint is a perfect gimbal for a cyclic. I have added 2 Hall senors out of my modded HOTAS Cougar and wired it all to the original Cougar base. Because I use Hall sensors I can limit the mechanical movement of the cyclic and still have the full motion range of the sensors. Works like a charm. The Black Shark is very controlable this way, even without the use of the Auto Stability functions. Asus ROG Crosshair VIII Hero (Wi-Fi) | AMD Ryzen 9 5900X @ 4,5Ghz | 128Gb DDR4 3200Mhz | beQuiet! Froglips Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 I use Copy Cat Control cyclic and collective. These are realistic sizes. The Black Hawk is still very twitchy with my set-up. It is hard to imagine that a combat pilot banging around in their seat could hold steady. I have my set-up tweaked to flatten the response curve around the center. Kurt "Froglips" Giesselman wishing someone would do a two seat sim like LB2...I ain't much of a pilot but I am a helava good shot.
