CAW problems

I've installed CAW n.3 and about half of the skins of the Mod are all white.

The SU-27 is white on the russian markins and on the numbers of the plane.

I don't know much about mods, but hope this helps.

Check if you got the newest modman

Check lockon version

Check if there might be a conflict between mods.

probably You did not swap .cfg files.

If Your modman don't do it, try manually by unpacking CAW pack and finding file graphics.cfg than replace original one with it.

I had a similar problem a long time ago when I tried to download a heap of mods all at the same time.

With the CAW mods, it is crucial you get them installed in the correct order and test each mod as you install before moving onto the next.

If I remember correctly I un-installed the ADA mod and this sorted a few of the major issues I was experiencing.

White planes afther modding is generally because the mod includes CDDS files, and those files weren't (correctly/at all) listed in your graphics.cfg

czarnyolek : Not sure there is a graphics.cfg included in the mod. In fact, including a graphics.cfg in a mod would be a bad idea as it will replace all your graphics settings.

limoncino : ModMan can declare automatically new CDDS files in your graphics.cfg since version 6.3.0.1. Do you have this one or higher ? If not, consider updating.

Could you be more specific ? AdA mod use its own textures in its own CDDS files, so I don't see where a conflict can lie ? Except if AdA & CAW unintentionnaly used the same file name for different textures...

I've installed CAW mod n.3 by installer.exe, so I can't see the files to install or to correct. I can't unistall the Mod cause there is not an unistaller!

May be I will unistall LOMAC.....

Dependant on your available HDD Space, might be advisable for future Major Mod installs to have Multiple LockOn Installations, ie a Vanilla LockOn Install/LockOnT-Toad install/Lockon A-10 install/LockOn ADA install etc etc.

 

That way if you do manage to FUBAR one install, you still have the others functioning dependant on which Airframe you wish to Fly on the day/A Vanilla Backup to prevent a Major reinstall.
