It was a long day yesterday. And My first try in taking pictures of flying airplanes with my new Nikon Coolpix P90 camera. So, here are the pictures ...

Thanks gentlemen. There are few more pictures from the show, however, these are the the ones that turned out the best.

 

That first picture is "Fat Albert" C-130 rocket assisted take off at 45 degree climb. And I caught that A-10 in the air as the pilot was looking at the crowd and at the moment I thought he was waving his hand to us too. Neat.

 

It seemed to me that Cobra helicopter had huge surface two blade rotor. And I was surprised that the set of sensor (possibly laser detectors) were so open and unprotected.

 

Blue Angels FA-18 look is incredible! And they do fly on top of the crowd, which is amazing feeling indeed.

Well there is nothing secret about it. It's part of the AN/AAR-47(V)2 MAWS (Missile Approach Warning System), and yes, it includes a laser detector.
