do i need to have LOMAC to play LockOn: Flaming Cliffs. I can't find a digital download of LOMAC.

Lock on on physical support does not have particular protection , you install , launch the game once and you can remove the CD from the drive . In any case that's what i had with my 2003 copy , since then water may have run under the bridges .? when it came out i purchased FC download version and never had any problem of any kind except one little large downloads such FC one can't be completed by a 56k modem

I think some publisher has recently re-released the original Lockon as I saw several copies in UK shops for 4.99 GBPounds at the weekend. Shops like GAME and HMV. I cant recall the name of the publisher, wasn't a name I had heard of before, might have been Revival or something similar?

I ordered the CD version of LOMAC, could someone please write the steps to get/install flaming cliff! there are many patches out there and one version of flaming cliff for purchase!! i'm confused as which ones to get!!

1) Clean installation of CD

2) Install the add-on

3) InstallPatch 1.12b for "LockOn 1.1: Flaming Cliffs" simulator

Yes, but it must be emphasized-- make SURE you download & install the CORRECT 1.12 patch. It is distinguished by which MEDIA your Flaming Cliffs is. It sounds like you have (or will have) the digital download of FC- so you need the patch for the downloaded version. Simple. You can buy and download the FC add-on anytime. The patch is free- so go ahead and download the right patch too.

 

When you get your CD- install it, and you'll have the 2 pieces ready to go.
