Griffin Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Some chap on militaryphotos.net found a SAM simulator on internet. It includes SA-2E Guideline and SA-3B Goa SAMs. I didn't try it but some of you might be interested. http://sites.google.com/site/samsimulator1972/home If you can't download, try here: http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums/showpost.php?p=4558990&postcount=26008 (Oops, maybe I should have posted this in other sims area.) 3
Boberro Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Checking it! Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D ಠ_ಠ ツ
llama Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 When I was in the Army I used the "Stinger Missile system simulator". It was basically a 180 deg. dome with various aircraft projected to it while holding the 50 pound tube on your shoulder. It was my first real sim :P . The simulator test scores and our other tests did however enable me to fire 2 live missiles at drones :pilotfly:.(whatever the wwII bomber game on commodore64 was doesn't count as a sim....lol) Asrock z68 Extreme4Gen3 Intel i5-2500K 8GB ram EVGA GTX 770 4GB Creative Recon3d Fatality Champion HDD's 320 GB Maxtor 7200RPM (OS and misc system files) 1 TB Hitachi 7200 RPM (games and music, storage) 64 GB Sandisk u100 SSD (Star Wars and DCS world 1.2.7) Trackir 4 Saitek X65F:joystick: Saitek X52 (Use flightstick for helo and WWII Sims, but X65 throttle) CH Pro pedals Thrustmaster MFD's Logitech X5500 Speakers Sennheiser PC360 Headphones Win 7 Home Premium (64 Bit)
Boberro Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 It looks nice, damnit it needs 1280x1024 resolution. However i think it is nice, and would be nice in DCS series :D Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D ಠ_ಠ ツ
