Russian Betty in English version DCS

I have English version of DCS BS and when I bought the sim 2 weeks ago I thought I'd have English betty or Russian betty as an option, just like how it was in LockOn, unfortunately it was not the case.

 

Is it possible to enable Rus. betty by some how installing 1.0.1 Russian version?

Presumably the sound files are there or not there which determines if it's possible or not. If they are there then you could do a labor-intensive replacement scheme or perhaps there is a Betty language option somewhere in the LUAs.

 

If the sound files are not there.. well SOL.

If you also have the Ru version of the sim, it's very easy to set up for an English pit and a wonderfully sexy Russian Betty. Unfurtunately the Russian Betty sound files are not included in the English version even though you have both English and Russian folders. Months ago a forum participant offered to host the Russian Betty sound folder with ED's permission. I don't recall what resulted from that discussion.

If you want Russian voices in the english version of black shark download this file

all you need to do is just overwrite the EnglishVersion folder in the Sounds folder of your Black shark install, but, please make a copy of the original folder (just in case).

You will then have Russian speaking wingmen, Tower, Ekran....etc, but the computer is still in English for some reason(real? maybe).

Try it I find it much better to have proper russian voices rather than accented English.

Be carefully. You may not rename any folders! Only copy and paste the soundfiles!
