HUD Brightness

Sometimes will set itself to zero (hud not visible at all)

Turning the brightness back up resolves it but why should it go to zero?

Cant complete courier mission.

 

Ok this is really quite frustrating.

 

Ive "completed" the mission, as in, I have escourted the transports to their LZ and back to base successfully without anyone taking any damage. We've all landed and shut off our engines, but for some reason mission status is still 0% mission not complete.

 

Any ideas?

Are you really sure you didn't press brightness button in cockpit when you were moving around pit? Personally I noticed this bug too, but as far I remember I think it was my fault.

Possible I guess. Is the brightness knob a button aswell? If you press it does it reset the brightness to zero? I cant imagine accidentally turning it all the way down as that would require ALT+C to switch to clickable without view mode, then scrolling the mousewheel.

Quite possible, happens to me all the time.. If you use the mouse when you zoom view in and out and also (by chance) have the cursor over the brightness knob, scrolling the mouse wheel will affect both zoom and the brightness knob.

You should also check other programming e.g. of your HOTAS or Joystick. If you mapped macros to your joystick, it's possible there is a problem. I had that with old Saitek-Drivers not differentiating between left and right ALT and also after ALT-TABing out of the game that the ALT-key was sticky. Just pressing ALT once after switching back into the game solves this issue though.
