Dose anybody have a answer for that Damn install error code 3, besides redownload or reinstall !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK FORGET THAT , DOSE ANYBODY KNOW WHERE TO GO FOR TECH SUPPORT

FOR FC 1.1 ANYWHERE ???????????????????????

yes I've e-mail them at the site provided at Lockon.ru, BUT NOT SURE these

are the RIGHT E-Mail Site.

and I've also left my problem at the Forum with that install error code 3 !!!!!!!!!!!

and B4 U answer yes I've tried redownloading and reinstalling serveral times now

that I've lost count, so if you or anyone know what that error code 3 means

Please let me know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, I dont know what the problem is.

 

Have you made sure all your drivers and Os are up to date?

have you tried different video/sound drivers.

A little less !!!!!! and less capitals makes your post seem a little more nice. You'll likely get better support if you are being nice instead of demanding and shouting...

 

As far as your error 3 goes; it's an error you get when your pack is corrupt. Are you using download mangagers to download the file? They tend to corrupt the package.

Are you getting the same error also when downloading via internet explorer?

If so, did you check your harddisk on errors?

No i'm not using a download mangager and all my drivers are up to date, i'm using norton systemworks 2005 with anti-virus,and ghost,roxio,nero and my harddisk is fine.

I've been thinking are any of these item above are the problem.

if you can help answer these ? that be cool and thanks for leting me know what that error code 3 was all about, So thanks for the comeback and your help.

Nero, Roxio Easy CD Creator, and Norton Ghost are definately not the reason why you keep getting the error 3 message.

System Works I don't know, but I find it hard to believe that anything other than download managers will corrupt your pack.

If you get the error 3 message also when downloading via internet explorer I can think of one other thing that might be causing corrupt files (especially with large downloads); a bad line, but only in case you are using a telephone line modem (56k6 or such). If you are using cable or adsl however, I have no idea what's causing the error 3 if the other issues are not applicable to your situation...

Yes I'm useing cable with IE and I don't use a download manager , thanks for the info on items above I was begining to think that was my problem.

and I still keep getting that error code 3 and no reply from ED from my E-mail
