All your models are awesome - and that F-5 (and with version without tip tanks :D) almost made me cry. Be sure I'll make a Brazilian Air Force F-5B skin out of that one :music_whistling:

By the way, does Spain operate A (or E) versions of the F-5, or just the B? If so, are you planning to include these in your mod?

anybody knows how can I change position the effects of the aircraft? like afterbuner light, or the somke of the engine when I turn on the engine

 

 

and the cddsstudio I have followed the steps and it does´nt work, I used .tga and .bmp for my textures, and I put them in temptexture folder, but I want to put them to .cdds, can anyone help me?

For the effects on the aircraft (afterburner cones etc) this is hardcoded in the sim, and to my knowledge there is not anyone that has figured out how to move these (by all means proove me wrong :)).

 

Though, for the afterburner cones there is a workaround:

You can make the cones in your aircrafts max file and animate them to the afterburner arguments. Then to hide the "game cone" you simply paint the alpha channel black on the original afterburner texture (forsag.tga). The good thing about this method is that you can customise your burners just as you want yourself. The bad thing is that the original "game burner" will be invisible on ALL planes in lockon.

 

For cdds I am very uncertain as I have never made one myself, but I think you have to devide the bmp's and tga's. So all bmp in one cdds and all tga's in another. Also these cdds files should be located in bazar/world (I think).

You also need to add a line in your graphics.cfg in order for the sim to read the newly added cdds files. I can do some more research on this when im on my lockon pc.

I think I can change the coordinates of heat blr(smoke of the engine) of each aircraft and light reflect of the navigation light because ada mod v1 they changed those thnigs, but I have no idea!!! about .cdds The cddsstudio When I add files and create .ccds files it puts error, I don´t know what happen, I do´nt IF I have to rename .tga and bmp to .dds and then put in the cddstudio.

 

AND THE LASt THINK is that when I do a combat my aircraft that i have make, it does´nt damage when a missile collisioned to the aircraft!!!it still flying normal

 

those problems and I finished spanish air force mod

hmm, the ada mod guys managed to change possition of heatblur? Maybe someone from ada team can add in on that? ;)

 

For cdds, I dont know how to make them, so im afraid I cant help you any further there. Skinners speak up! :D

 

For the damage though, this sounds like it has to do with the colision model (note colision model and NOT damage model). The collision model is what tells the game where the plane takes damage etc. Tigrou/beczl made a great post about this:

PERFECT. cdds studio working, I´m making HARRIER but it will non-flyable, it is almos finished too, only damage parts of the aircraft, and finished,

 

I repaint some cockpits.

 

I put the corrects MISSILES, AND i HAVE MADE SOME MISSILES LIKE aim-9J, and I modificated some bombs

 

 

You will see soon.

Harrier works well on F-117 slot as this plane is not used too often. It have high subsonic speed in LO and with flaps fully dispatched can fly very, very slow. Can use mavericks as well. have a try pevolt.

Czarnyolek, but the F-117 is stealthy (not exactly stealth in Lock On, but a bit harder to detect)

 

What about replacing the Su-25 and setting it as flyable? Doesn't have that many pylons, but can still work :)

Nice Harrier, Peyvolt!

 

Just some advicing here, I think you can lower the opacity of rivets and lines in the skin, they're showing a bit too much. Matter of taste, of course :)

 

Looking forward to the release.
