Few hours ago I bought a download version of Lock On Flaming Cliffs from lockon.co.uk, then my browser came up with: "Waiting for bank to confirm payment", and few minutes after that people from my bank called me and I have confirmed payment, but after that nothing happened.

I haven't got any mail, or information about download link for the game which I just paid. Also I checked my account on lockon.co.uk, but still the same, it says: "You have not paid for anything yet".

I wrote mail to webmaster@lockon.ru and support@lockon.ru, but there was no answer.

Could anyone help me with some information?

Thank You...

DCS can also be bought via Direct2Drive:

One note that I don't know if it's applicable to you, but might be similar:

In some cases where I purchase things online and the vendor or CC handler is connected to the same network as my bank I get referred to a system that my bank has set upwhere I use my card together with my own personal card chip reader to confirm the validity of the purchase. For the purchase to be fullfilled the connection needs to be maintained from the vendor, to my bank, and back to confirm the purchase.

If your bank's solution requires confirmation, but only allows manual confirmation through telephone, I would guess it's possible that the web system times out and your purchase is therefore not processed simply due to the waiting time. Therefore you should confirm that the money has actually been deducted from your account. If they have not, it's probably a bank issue and knowing this will help in solving the issue.

Something like that... I called my bank and yes, there was a transfer of $14.95, so I have paid for the game, but didn't get any further...

Every time I purchase online I get confirmation online, instantly, this is first time to have confirmation over phone...

Also, there is no one from lockon.co.uk to answer to my mail what's happening...

Sorry because of my broken English...

i had a better look into it it seems the dvd boxed doesnt have a hardcopy manual, so if i buy it from direct2drive can i burn it to DVD?

You can make a dvd backup yes (I think it's just two files).

Don't forget to patch to 1.01C.

quadrifoglio Someone in your bank has decided the transaction is suspicious. That's why they called you. Nothing special here. It's a kind of a lottery AFAIK. I mean the way how they choose transactions to verify. (If you didn't answer the call (eg. being away from the phone) bank probably could block your card).

Regarding the payment itself. You're right, the phone call was made too late, the timeout already happened.

Now you should experience a 'shadow' on your bank account. This occurs when a transaction is authorised by your card issuing bank but it fails on the Sage Pay systems for another reason.

The funds have not left your account, they have simply been 'shadowed' as your bank is expecting Sage Pay to remove those funds at some point. But Sage Pay cannot actually accept the payment as it has failed.

The shadow will automatically expire after 6 working days and the funds will appear again in your bank account.

Thank You very much.

It's all clear now, but I have one more question:

I still want the game, could I try again to purchase from Your site, will I be able now to make payment normally?

If this happens again, what should I do?

Thank You in advance.

You should be able to do perform a purchase. The only reason why the same thing would happen again is if your bank has decided to be really annoying to you, or if they have decided to not like SagePay or something like that. If that happens, you can always try with Direct2Drive. (But directly from digitalcombatsimulator.com is always better, since it gives ED a bigger cut. ;) )
