is quick start still working, it seems to hang with a Hydro Pressure error? and not progress, the game is still active ... just no engine power?

You mean windows key + home startup? if it doesen't work perhaps the mission you're flying start with no fuel in the Ka-50 and you first need to ask for to the ground units.
