difference between 'Modifiers' / 'Switches' ??

difference Modifiers / Switches??

 

I got my modifier working by adding to 'modifier' :cry:

but I had tried first adding the button to 'Switches' and that ended up bad :mad:

 

can't find what Switches is supposed to do

i am not 100% sure what you are trying todo, but i understand as follows:

 

modifier = enables alteration while being held down

switch = enables alteration through switching between n states (e.g. 1st click-> mode1,2nd click->mode2,3rd click->mode3...

also I found it in the GUI manual, was looking in the wrong manual
