Cold War arms race (TV documentary-Who remember?)

Recommended Posts

In the 80's or early 90 to appear in television series about the Cold War arms race. Were sections of the Minuteman ballistic rockets, the capitals of MIRV, Russian trains with ICBM rockets, anti-missile (Spartan, Sprint, Nike Zeus), bombers (B-1B and president Carter, etc), SALT and START treaty, etc.

Does anyone remember how called this documentary series?

Thanks.

Hey pilotasso, we're a predator species with both herd and territorial instincts. Nukes are a natural byproduct. :P

Sometimes I am amazed how stupid mankind can be. What a waste of resources.

Not a waste at all. This is the most powerful weapon mankind has created so far and it was the main reason there is no WW3. Yes there were wars and local conflicts, but nothing like WW2. Nuclear powaaa - it`s a miracle. :P

That too, but what I meant is that they wasted 30 billion dollars on research for missile invulnerability and all they got was 50 missiles in normal silos. All that money spent for an insignificand and rather pointless adition to the arsenal.

Too bad we still not smart enough that we need something like that, to prevent all out wars. At least it works...
