I'm new to the forum. I have some questions that I 'm sure have been covered at some point but I have not been able to locate the answers. I have both black shark and lock-on. I restarted playing lock-on after I played black shark some. I have Lock on gold but I can not get the flaming cliffs cd to work. The regular lock on does works on my computer. Do I need to buy a new flaming cliffs cd to get ready for Flaming Cliffs 2.0.?

My second question is where are the best places to find new mods, maps and missions?

My last question is there a way to play both lock on and black shark on a computer that is not hooked up to the internet? I have two computers. An old computer that is hooked up to the internet and a second newer computer with a better graphics card to play games and stimulations that will be virus free.

Thanks, for any information,

Matt

I think there was a fault with the Flaming Cliffs cds in Lock on gold from the first production run you should be able to exchange it from the company that made it.

Lockonfiles.com is the most complete comllection of mods and missions.

Lockon won't require internet activation not sure about BS check the box to see if it says Internet connection required. Its a good idea to keep your gaming comp offline I used to before the wife took over the internet pc.

Scarecrow is right about the defective disks in LockOn Gold but the company isn't replacing them anymore. I had the same problem, LOMAC would load and run fine but FC was FUBAR'd. I downloaded the web version of FC and it runs fine so you do need internet connection.

I don't know about FC 2.0 if you only need LOMAC then upgrade straight to FC 2.0 I thought I read one of the earlier threads on it that it was going to work that way but I can't say for sure.
