Hello,

OP is 'original post' I think.

I'll be getting my VAC working again soon. It is a great tool when simming. Your profile is very complete, but I could never remember all those lines and I defer to simplicity over realism. You memory is much better than mine Strongharm. :) Agreed it is a well-spent $20!

SnowTiger: I apologize for not speaking your language...

"OP is 'original post', eh" :)

JG, I've added a kneeboard reference. Just drop the KA-50 folder into \Saved Games\DCS\Kneeboard. There are a lot of voice commands, but there are a lot of variations of just a few. The reason I added so many was to prevent having to split the commands which takes away from situational awareness. For instance, I could have done Wingman One (then wait for menu) then Return to Formation. Instead of two separate commands you have "Wingman one return to formation" and it goes through all the menus automatically. If this isn't to your taste I understand, but I hope that after you try it you'll find that it's much more convenient.

It's a good thing that this is Early Access and we've all volunteered to help test and enhance this work in progress... despite the frustrations inherent in the task with even the simplest of software... otherwise people might not understand that this incredibly complex unfinished module is unfinished. /light-hearted sarcasm

You've done a great job on your profile. I just loaded my old VAC program and profile and it works perfectly. I keep her simple and can always default to pronouncing the F-key.

I'm new to the kneeboard thing... all I know is I hit my NV panel light switch and that thing covers up my ABRIS on my Helios monitor. :) I'll have to look into that.

Your post helped me get VAC running again, thanks.

how to make key combinations work in DCS world

I've been using VAC together with my rift to fly DCS. I can get all the single key voice activated commands to work, but have no success with key combinations. They show up alright in VAC when I test the phrases, but they have no effect in DCS. In particular, what am I doing wrong in the two cases shown in the attachments. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi wolle

I can only guess here but with regards to your EJECT command, I'm wondering if the way you have set that up that VAC is waiting until you say "Eject Eject Eject" ... 3 Times rather than it waiting for you to say "Eject" 3 times ??

I haven't tested it but it just looks to me like that might be the problem with that command.

I have no clue regarding the other command issue you have.

It appears I was "almost" on the right track. A bit more complicated but not much.

Kool !

Excellent Program

Wolle,

Eject Command: Snowtiger is right, you have to perform the L-CTRL+E three times. To do this click the ADD button, which is mid screen in the Action Attributes pane. You currently have a Command1 there, you should see Command2 and 3 after your done, and they should all have the same command in them. Multiple commands for a single execution is what allowed me to make this verbose profile. Powerful stuff.

Pinky Switch: There are three pinky switch commands; P + L-CTRL/R-CTRL/SHIFT. Did you use the one you intended to?
