Best way to get airborne ASAP for basic flight practice?

At the moment I am trying to improve my basic flight (smoother, gentler and more intentional movement) and at this stage I am not worried about learning start up procedures just getting quickly into the air.

 

I fly mostly the ‘Shooting Range’ in default Sim mode and wish I could save 5 minutes by having the heli powered up fully and ready to take off.

 

Are there any missions available like that either in the game or to download?

 

Would be great if I could save a mission just before taking off and then load the saved game at that point?

 

Maybe I am missing something but what’s the easiest way to get airborne starting at an airfield?

Open any Mission in the Mission Editor and Click on the Helo Icon. You will see the Helo Icon appear in Yellow as well as a Menu open on the Right side of the screen.

 

From the Right menu, ensure you select 'Takeoff from Runway' from the Type Tab to ensure a Hot-Start (Engines Running). Hit the 'Fly' Icon, Save the Mission and you're Good to Go :)
