hollywoody
Hey guys, I notice that when trying to run on high graphics settings I'm getting that shopping slow frame rate and it does get somewhat better when I change to medium or low graphic settings. I notice the slower frame rate when panning to the left or right while flying past cities..etc. My question is: can I get better performance by upgrading my video card and what card do you suggest? How would the ATI Radeon™ HD 5770 compare to my current card? My budget is under $200 here are my specs. thanks for your vista 32bit intel duo core e4500 2.2ghz 3GB ram nvidia geforce 8800gt alpha dog 500watt power supply thanks Edited January 30, 2010 by hollywoody [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] http://WWW.VFA-113.COM ________________________ Win 8.1 i5-3570 3.4ghz-Trackir5-TM Warthog - Pro-Saitek Combat Rudders-Viso 43" 4k"
Haukka81
Overclock your CPU, black shark wants more GHZ. I have e8400 oc to 3,6ghz and radeon 5770 and i get about 30-50fps. -haukka81 Oculus CV1, Odyssey, Pimax 5k+ (i5 8400, 24gb ddr4 3000mhz, 1080Ti OC ) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
159th_Falcon
I would suggest you take a look at this tweak guide. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=49434 Then reconsider the "need" for upgrading anything. I am certainly no expert on Intel and Nvidea chips so i cant give you advice on that area though. isoul
One thing for sure... your E4500 should be your primary concern since the game uses more CPU than a GFX card.
GaryIKILLYOU
Yeah, your CPU needs some work, your card is fine. But IF you do have to upgrade (because it eats at you) then the HD 5770 is a fine choice. Ramstein
you can get a Core2Duo 2.93 ghz cpu for $100.00 new if you look around..
