But I strongly suggest to use for rudder even primitive pedals that come with every cheap pc steerwheel which you can by in every megastore ;)

Not necessarily if you ask me! In case you have a joystick that already has a "twisty" rudder and a throttle-stick then "stick" to it... at least for the beginning. Then you may judge by yourself.

If someone asked what would make the Shark's handling better for me I would mention the rudder pedals(instead of the "twisty" rudder on my X52) after TrackIr and a "heavier" less-soft joystick.

Poko made the drive wheel pedal comment. I have tried this and it really is not a good way to do it. True rudder pedals is the best solution. You get don't get any real feedback as to what your rudder position is with racing pedals since both move indamendant of each other. Not togethor like rudder pedals.

^ True but you're still able to get a good sense of balance with such setup.

You have a point there.. still IMO a small price to pay, to have your feets the way you want. :smilewink:
Yeah, me too... But it's a sim dammit :D Twist or rudder pedals? Whatever. No need to buy an expensive pro flight pedals wich can be used only with flight sims. It just depends on how seriously you are with your hobby. So, choice is up too you. All in all both solutions are supported by DCS BS ;)

Why would you want to have your feet in any other way than on a set of rudder pedals? :P
