ScEBlack1 Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 Is there a way to calibrate my X52 (reg version)??? it only has the controller setup with deadzones and and yaws for rotaries and such but not able to calibrate the pitch and yaw of the joystick itself. I think my yaw is a bit off in my joystick, any ideas how to calibrate? thanks all.
SeaFoam Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 It is self calibrating, unplug it and plug it back in - other than that I don't believe there is another way.
HitchHikingFlatlander Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 I have to agree it's automatic, never tried to do it manually with mine though...... http://dcs-mercenaries.com/ USA Squad
Prophet4no1 Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 I found on mine if it's not reading right, just move all axises to their extreme points and it works fine after that. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
ScEBlack1 Posted February 9, 2010 Author Posted February 9, 2010 Ok, it seems that when in the sim BS and I have up the red box which shows the pedal and cyclic controls and wether they are centered or not (sorry forget the name of the box) my joystick is off the center line to the left a bit, but, my pedals are perfectly centered, any ideas? Prophet you say move all axises to the etreme point? and then back?
Prophet4no1 Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 I replied to your PM, but for any one else. I just move the stick in a cirlce at it's outer most point, like you would do calibrating. I do this for any axis ackting up. It happens from time to time. Not sure why. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
thebestttttttt Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 i found to calibrate the x52 but for do it , i not will install the saitek drivers. i have modified my x52 and i must calibrate it manually. for do to reappear the tab : calibrate , i launch regedit and i search (Ctrl + F ) and delete all file with the name : saitek. it is very long but after that , when i plug my x52 , i can access to the tab calibrate. but after you can't install the saitek driver if you want keep the calibration.
