grover Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 I havent played too muchy of 1.1 yet, but a small flight yesterday I notice the terrain semmed to squirm around a bit. I vaugely recall reading of a similar problem in Lomac, but cant remeber if there was a cure. I never had the problem with 1.02 or previous version, but then again I just updated my gfx drivers before I installed 1.1. Anyone know if theres a system fix for this? JG27_Arklight Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 Cranking up AF eliminated it for me (using 8xAF right now and there is no swimming present). KuostA Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 hmm..Not quite able to imagine what you mean. Can you take a screenie just to clarify? BTW, you dont happen to be the "grover" from flightsim.com do you? =p
grover Posted April 15, 2005 Author Posted April 15, 2005 Thanks Arklight. I'll give it a go. Kuost, it would be hard to show in a screenshot. Its like the terrain is moving around. And yup. unless theres two or more of us, im the grover from flightsim.com
coldcrew Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 yea mine went away, or was greatly reduced when I changed to 2xaa/2af. I noticed it the shimmering with the texture pack installed.
KuostA Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 heh..so it IS you! Well, welcome to the best sim just gone make-over! Not regarding your question, but Never had a chance to reply to any of your posts over at flightsim.com, Just a lurker. ;) Anyway, your work is great, but most of all, your FS9 videos are fantastic. Any video of Lomac can be interesting, but making an awesome FS9 video is one difficult task. I see you and your "BBQ" buddies like ground poundin in them hogs..Why not whip up a nice LOMAC video for a change? See ya around! :)
Guest ruggbutt Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 Why not whip up a nice LOMAC video for a change? I second that!!!!
grover Posted April 15, 2005 Author Posted April 15, 2005 Been meaning to tackle a lomac movie, but I think it will require a whole lot more planning than I do currently. FS04 is pretty easy as you can do what you like with it. Miss a shot, no problem, slew back and try again. If Lomac had a rewind and pause functions in its track player, it would be much easier. Thanks for the compliment though :) Yeah, got a few local guys who fly lomac on line, although we took the BBQ Club name while playing F-18.
