Hi guys,

I know this is a stupid question to a lot of you but it's really bugging me.

In the ABRIS tutorial the Pilot/Instructor zooms into the ABRIS panel so that it fills the screen. I know how to move my head around the cockpit & zoom in etc. but I can't find the key/s to Zoom into the ABRIS like the Instructor does. Can anyone help this noob?

Thanks,

Press Alt+C and you will be able to zoom using mouse wheel. There is a third mode also with another Alt+C press and it just makes the mouse cursor dissappear.

Since the mousewheel seems to be hardcoded to click inside the cockpit (rotating knobs). I made the Zoom axis be Mouse5+MouseWheel so mousewheel doesn't do both zoom when I'm trying to turn a knob in the clickable cockpit!

I've found that if you click and drag normally it works fine.

With deactivated TrackIR, use RCTRL+RSHFT+(Keypad)2, 4, 6, 8, / and * to move your view backwards, forward, sideways, up and down

and RSHFT+(Keypad)1,2,..., 9, / and * to move the head like you do with TrackIR. Gives good views!!

Short reminder, there exist's a manual with a description of the key seqcuenses. Could be very usefull, .... sometimes! :music_whistling:

I've changed my fixed views to include full screen IT23(only), IT23/Abris, Abris/PVI views. I achieve these views by hitting the fixed view keys; CTRL+num0(IT23 only), CTRL+num0 | num2, CTRL+num0 | num3 respectively. I've attached these views to voice commands 'View Targeting System', 'View Abris', 'View Navigation System' respectively.

I do use the zoom slider on my X52 to zoom into the IT23 or ABRIS when I absolutely know that I'll need the situational awareness of looking up from the display repeatedly to make sure no threats are apparent, but if I'm in a good position at a treeline and I'm, picking off targets with little threat, I use these fixed views via voice command. When feeding coords into the PVI, the nav system (ABRIS/PVI) view is very comfortable.

Changing fixed views thread Thanks again S77th-ReOrdain!

Using voice commands thread

It's a good thing that this is Early Access and we've all volunteered to help test and enhance this work in progress... despite the frustrations inherent in the task with even the simplest of software... otherwise people might not understand that this incredibly complex unfinished module is unfinished. /light-hearted sarcasm
