Rikus Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 In my old CRT 17" i see lomac at 1024x768 and the gauges was small. My surprise is that when i bought a 22" 1680x1050 and edit de graphic.cfg, the gauges i can see are a bit bigger but not too much, so gauges still are difficult to read. In FC2 does this problem is solved? Greetings
DTWD Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 What you have to remember is that screens work on a PPI (pixels per inch). The resolution combined with the size of the screen gives you this value. As you have increased monitor size, but also increased monitor resolution you are not going to see much difference. If you lower your resolution they should become more visable. I have a 27" monitor running at 1920x1200 (a relative low PPI) and I can see all the dials no problems. So either run a lower resolution, or zoom in a bit. If you get some head tracking software you can zoom in and out as you need to with the greatest of ease. Regards [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Boberro Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Exactly. You can use also zoom, as it is imho best solution so far. Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D ಠ_ಠ ツ
coolts Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 ..or buy a 50" tv with a really low resolution (640x480) and you will have dials that are super huge! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] i7 9700k | 32gb DDR4 | Geforce 2080ti | TrackIR 5 | Rift S | HOTAS WARTHOG | CH PRO Pedals
Boberro Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Maybe projector or cinema scren :D Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D ಠ_ಠ ツ
