Increasing the incockpit ROTOR sounds?

Hi, I thought I've seen this but cant find it...anyway I want to increase the rotor volume (whapping) within the cockpit only and was wondering do i do this within the sound.cfg files and which file and colum do I edit. I found a number of rotor sound files (below) ..

I modified rotor sounds originally done by Diveplane and Glowing Amraam, to get this effect.

Just put these files into your

...\Ka-50\Sounds\Effects folder and just replace the files already there.

 

Back up the original file though.

Edit;- The hard Slapping sound of the Ka-50 really only comes into effect with speed or during hard manoeuvres.

You can not make sounds louder as "1.0" in the sound.cfg (BS will crash) so the only way is to edit the wav files in an editor like audacity.

 

Note:

RotorKa50.wav = Main rotor sound

RotorKA50Dyn.wav = comes in when the rotors are under stress (high speed, turns).

 

You might also want to check out the Hokumsounds mod, according many an inprovement over the original sounds.

I've no Idea, I didn't put anything on the lockonfiles site, but it is the latest version of my version, so to speak.

Edit2::- Lockon Files has the original Sound from GA and Diveplane. This versioin in the link above is a tweaked version of that with a new corrected RotorKa50.wav added to compliment my modified RotorKa40Dyn.wav from the original mod. Mine has been submitted to Lockonfiles now.
