Selecting group in editor

Hi,

I've decided to play around with DCS editor and I stumbled into a problem. I've placed some units around map, all starting from the same pos, same wpts, different types. Now I want to edit some of those units. How can I select a certain group? Like, in FC1 editor, there is a drop down list with group names, but I cant spot such option here.

There is unit list button and you can choose it from there.

I think you are looking for a icon with triangle/diamond/square on the left side of ME screen (below icons for adding ground/air/sea units and static objects). If you press it, you will get list of all units and static objects, and you also have filter to select what you want.

 

I hope that this is what you was looking for.

P.S you will have to assign a name for each group when you add it, otherwise, you will get list like this:

 

New Vehicle Group

New Vehicle Group #001

New Vehicle Group #002

…

In the ME-Editor, only before you create a new mission.

If you want to edit the coalition after the creation, it is only possible with an Texteditor like Notepad++.

And that is not easy stuff!
