learning LOMAC

ok - so I installed LOMAC today and patched up to 1.2 in anticipation of FC2.0

 

two quick questions fropm a pretty experienced black shark pilot:

 

1. can someone point me o a resource where i can learn everything for a single plane? The tutorials/training in LOCKON force you to proceed through different airframes to learn everything from takeoff to engagements. I really dislike this format and would prefer an immersed progression on a single airframe if available.

 

2. Pitch oscillations.... big time. no ffb stick here. I remember i had them a few years back when i first installed lomac and i ran around farking with curves etc for days on end until someone pointed out a VERY simple misinterpretation I was making regarding trim. It fixed it right away but now i am haveng the same brain fart... can someone remind me - is there some sort of flight director i am supposed to enable/disable to stop the pitch oscillations??

2. Play with Yaw Scale limitations X-Y-Z ect...ect..On your Flight stick programing..

 

It took me a good while where I could fly the KA-50 where I wanted it to go...

Do you mean you patched the vanilla LOMAC to v1.02? Or do you mean you also installed Flaming Cliffs and patched to v1.12?

 

CNTRL/T for quick setting of neutral trim can help.

its vanilla to 1.02 - sorry my bad.

 

as for mission editor - yeah i realise i can make missions but i am looking for a progressive video tutorial for each airframe like they have in Black shark. just asking this community if they know of one out there. either a video progression or perhaps training missions a'la DCS BS.

Get the upgrade to Flaming Cliffs 1.1 and then the free patch to 1.12.

 

Don't waste too much time training on 1.02 as the differences that FC introduced are significant outside of the most basic things. Get set up on my site- (See sig) and refer back to it for most all of the most common issues that noobs have getting off the ground. (figuratively) I will show you how to sweep away the obstacles on your road of learning & knowledge.

 

To literally get off the ground- use ironhands site. www.flankertraining.com That's the actual flight training. There's also several banner links to Ironhand's pad on kon air, too.

 

Read my LOMAC FAQ's. Seriously. You may even correct an issue you've mentioned already.
