july865 Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 all the a/c's available to fly in FC2 had 'click-able' cock-pits. . dont get me wrong, i REALLY enjoy FC2. i also believe it has a VERY VERY strong future, especially with the ability of adding BS and the up-coming A10-C to the experience. keep up the good work. . . anyone else?? zakobi Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 Afaik problem is that making a click able cockpit require quit a lot. And without a fully 3d cockpit as in DCS, it's kinda mehh...
Avimimus Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 Heck, I would have been happy to pay more for a LAU-68 and an upgraded B-8 rocket pod 3d model. No need for fancy clickable cockpits...

Thats why you will have to use DCS for that - it's built up from the ground with that in mind. The mind is like a parachute. It only works when it's open | The important thing is not to stop questioning
TRZ06 Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 I would gladly pay $100 for a full DSC version of FC 2.0 The fighter sim industry is very much a niche market. We have to support the efforts of the few who still contribute to it. Kind of like what AOPA is to general aviation. You need your support group. july865 Posted March 29, 2010 Author Posted March 29, 2010 well maybe 1 day there will be a big patch for all the cock-pits to be click-able..... i know, dont hold my breath on it. but im with TRZ, i would gladly pay that kind of money for all those wonderful a/c to be fully functional. hell, i spent more than $100 on just 2 ac from PMDG's ac, and i cant kill anything with them... good work guys/gals. good quality sims. keep em coming. Thunderbird Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 click-able cockpit ? its really worth it, i felt that $29.99 is is more than worth for FC2, Talking about with click-able cockpit i dont mind even if its 79.99
Boulund Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 There are no clickable cockpits in any of the planes from FC2! People are just confused because of the mouse cursor in the cockpits (a basic feature of the engine FC2 now runs in). There is nothing to click in the cockpits, they are still the same "dump" cockpits as in previous FC. Thunderbird Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 yeah i know, but it will be worth of $$$$ if ED have this in future
Boulund Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 That is what the next parts of the DCS-series are for; for us to happily give away our $$$$ to ED in the future ;) Core i5-760 @ 3.6Ghz, 4GB DDR3, Geforce GTX470, Samsung SATA HDD, Dell UH2311H 1920x1080, Saitek X52 Pro., FreeTrack homemade cap w/ LifeCam VX-1000, Windows 7 Professional x64 SP1.
