FC 2.0 is a must have, plus if you get it now, you will be able to learn it, there is a learning curve for each aircraft..

Lomac FC2 is a delight. I'd unreservedly recommend it. Personally, I think it has just the right systems immersion - you can concentrate on flying the aircraft and managing weapons employment without the overhead of having to learn systems & subsystems. LOMAC remains a platform where I can go away for six months, spend an hour coming back, and be back in the groove.

This says it all! I hesitate to touch BS again until I have the time to re-learn it, but I think FC will be easy to put down for a week or two when I get busy, then pick right back up.

Thats why purchased FC2. It gives me a little bit of a head start so hopfully the learning curve when DCS A10 is released wont be as steep as DCS BS was. Being a fixed wing noob as well Ive already learnt the A10 in FC2 has no radar, only has live TVM link when MAV is availlable, and also learnt that undetected attack helicopters will shoot me down quite readily(good news for the BS pilots).

The other reason I purchased FC2 is because that a quality multiplay environment will require all three sims for the best outcome. BS/FC2/A10 will rock online with realistic missions.

I like it so far. Nice work, everyone. Still trying to configure and fix my buttons for the changed key commands.. The CMC file that us CH users love is a hinderance at the moment.. Need a new one :) Still have 6 DOF on.. getting used to it.. The head rolling movement is a little dizzying, but I think I might learn to like that after a bit..

I got caught up in that chat window issue.. wtf is THAT? I know there's a thread about it somewhere.. it's almost 1 AM here so I'll look tomorrow, but jeez!! I had to exit out completely, and reload my CH map to get my PTT button working again..

That's the only major thing I've encountered. Very nice.
