the_soupdragon Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 Can you copy inputs from one aircraft to another? What I mean is rather that creating profiles for each aircraft can I copy my A-10 profile (as that is what I have been flying mostly) to all the other aircraft as a base template and the tweak for the other aircraft? If so, do I just copy my LockOn2\Config\Input\Aircrafts\a-10a\*.* to all the other aircraft folders? I thought I would ask first before I tryit and if possible avoid killing my install. Boberro Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 Yes u can do that and it will work. I created one profile for Su-33 and simply copied them to MiGs and Su-27. Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D ಠ_ಠ ツ
Nate--IRL-- Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 (edited) Edit:- I've just noticed the Directory you are talking about, DON'T copy the whole A-10 directory as this will mess up the keyboard configs too. copy only your specific joystick LUA file in this directory X:\LockOn Flaming Cliffs 2\Config\Input\Aircrafts\a-10a\joystick You can do that, but you won't be able to assign aircraft specific stuff to your joystick. So you won't be able to, for example, assign the shkval to your joystick or radar controls to your joystick, as the A-10 does not have these controls. If you have already copied the joystick file over, you can simply delete the file and FC2 will create a fresh profile to start again with after restarting FC. I know its a pain in the arse to setup but you have to setup each plane individually. However for the Migs and the Su-27/33 the controls may be copied between them, as the controls are essentially the same.
