FC 2 , PROBLEM : SU-27, incockpit normal view turned a few degrees towards one O'clock ???

I have waited to post my problem here, and I have tried everything I can imagine...

I have installed the combined mod (3Go SU-27, Gys F-15, Simmod A-10 joint pack) and at first, when I saw some strange artefact in the A-10 cockpit I uninstalled and installed each mod separately... Then, I dont know how, but when I tried to uninstall, Modman 7.2 gave me a long list of files for which it couldnt find backups??? :(

Anyhow, I dont know if it is related, but the first time I fired the SU-27 in FC2, I found my normal view in cockpit (before I press pause to start) turned towards the right??? I looked through all config files and everything was as the fresh original files (I had made a backup)...

All other AC are fine.

Same even with all mods uninstalled.

Any idea? Anybody having the same problem?

thanks

I don't have this problem but here is how you fix it......

open X:\LockOn Flaming Cliffs 2\Config\View\View.lua with Notepad++ http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/uk/site.htm

Go to line 51 and change

UseDefaultSnapViews = true to

UseDefaultSnapViews = false

Now the next time you go in cockpit move and zoom the view to where you want the default view to be and press the Right ALT + 0 on the numberpad. This will save this view as the default for the plane you are in.

Well, that's a clue. I would reinstall (you don't loose activations), just in case the Su-27 cockpit problem you're having is not really the only one.

The 3 in 1 pack gave some errors for people.

Thanks Nate, but it is not a Snapviews problem...

I have the problem on the normal F1 view (even at game start, even before I hit the pause button...).

The snapviews are fine (and in order to summon them I need to press num0 and then 12345 etc. Hitting Ralt+num0 saves the angles for the last view that one was looking at (num0+1 or 2 or 3 or 4).

This is not my problem.
