xracer Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 I was wondering, do i need the Trackir to be able to look infront of the stick on the panels there?. I see that in some tutorials the views in the cockpit is bent likearound the stick etc. System spec: Intel Core i7 920@4.2Ghz (stable, 65degC fully loaded), EVGA GTX-780, Asus P6T Deluxe V2 v.5.04 BIOS, Saitek X52, 1TB/500GB WD HD for system/storage. Feuerfalke Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 You mean undocumented in terms of hidden functions? It's in the pilots controls, mapable in the axis-panel and rshift-p is in the key-list. @xracer: You can move your head to the sides a bit. Buttons and axis are mapable and listed in the keylist. There is no way to move your head in front of the stick or disable the stick being rendered. Bucic Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 (edited) No, the normal meaning of the 'undocumented' word - not in the documentation i.e. AFAIK there is no mentioning that you can look around in the cockpit like that (see the pic) using just a mouse. I know it's in the options-controls. This is the place where I found out about that. I also didn't say that RShift+P is not documented. Holding the middle mouse button gives the ability to look behind the stick more than you need to. xracer Posted April 30, 2010 Author Posted April 30, 2010 Ok i did buy the TrackIr 5 weeks ago, but havent had time to use it more than testing it. Would be nice if i can use it with those functions. What i refer to is some of the movements which are done in the Producers notes from Wags. Anyway thans for the tip :-) System spec: Intel Core i7 920@4.2Ghz (stable, 65degC fully loaded), EVGA GTX-780, Asus P6T Deluxe V2 v.5.04 BIOS, Saitek X52, 1TB/500GB WD HD for system/storage.
