IvanK Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 For those in the know. Does FC2 IR seeker acquisition modelling include Thrust setting versus IR ? Like in Full Burner your IR Sig is huge whilst say at Idle it is a whole lot smaller.
Boberro Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 Yes it does. You can check it yourself, lock idle plane and lock afterburn plane - you will see differencies in lock range and IR signature size in Su\MiG termo mode. Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D ಠ_ಠ ツ
GGTharos Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 It most certainly does; so does aspect, at least in terms of hemisphere (ie your hull hiding the exchaust = smaller IR signature).
