TeeJay82 Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 hey, im quite new to lock on series allthough i play black shark alot :) but as i ventured into air to air refueling i came short :/ i managed to get the a10 into position and connect the hose but then i loose control of the aircraft and it randomly banks away from the tanker and i need to start over... frustrating. Any tips or help videos would be greatly appreciated i also tried with f15/su33. f15 is impossible to get connected due to no visual on the connector/hose and su33 is a bit easier but i dont understand the RF pointer and where to allign then with tanker hope someone can help me. KeyCat Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 (edited) I've only refueld with the A-10A so far but perfect trim pre-connect and slow approach was the key to success for me. In the A-10A HUD you can see the distance to the tanker in upper left corner when you are getting close, not sure if it's in ft or m, use that info when closing in... Robin_Hood Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 You will never have metric units on a US plane ;) Russian planes will be in metric, though. Also, US planes have autopilot during refueling, so once contact established, you shouldn't touch anything. Be careful, it doesn't work when there is wind 2nd French Fighter Squadron

Be careful, it doesn't work when there is wind Grabbed the a10 and made a refuel mission.... still the same happens even though i dont touch anything... hose connects and it pushes my plane down and out of range and it disconnects
