I've tried everything and cannot create my own weapon loadout for the su-25 ?

I don't know what the problem is?

I've tried to use the ME and click "NEW" the create a new name then I cannot select

any of the stations with right click ?

What am I doing wrong ?

one prob I've noticed is that the name "New Payload" brings up a box message that the name is not unique ?

Also another name I created comes with the same warning even though I have deleted both of those payload names already?

I have minimum Modman 7.2 mod's loaded, 6dof, stock sound comp pack, those two only

any help appreciated

I have checked the forums and not found any threads to help me

wonder if I have to do a re-install ?

Are you able to create payloads for other planes?

What if you enter a payload name that's definitely unique (andfidnfdkfdfsldfmdlf)?

I don't know if the payload names need to be unique across the entire game; across just a particular aircraft; or just a particular aircraft+role. I do know that you get a different list of payloads if you change the task (e.g. from CAS to Ground Attack) - so possibly you have a payload of the same name but for a different task, so it's not shown in the list?

I don't have issue with making new payload in ME but I did come accross situation where I created new payload... deleted it, then when making new one with same name (ala default New Payload name) it gives me same error message saying it's duplicate name... no idea why though

I have just uninstalled and then re-installed the LOFC2 with the patch and I still cannot

create a new payload for any plane ?

One thing is I am using a wireless mouse I wonder if that is causing the problem ?

Any suggestions please let me know

Mouse is a mouse, so doesn't matter how it's connected to the PC, so that can't be the reason

Just to be sure... where exactly are you clicking? The picture of the aircraft and the heading columns are just for show, only the rows listing different loadouts will respond. If you left-click on it, does it highlight the correct row?

I can't think of any other part of the interface that actually responds to the right mouse clicks to test it's being recognised properly. Does it work in Windows generally?

I found a solution I have to right click the ROW Name first,

then I can right click any weapon box and get the drop down box for my selection

If I don't right click the row name first then right click on the weapon box gives no response

I don't know why I have this problem ?

Does anyone else have it ?

erm, that's normal... you need to select the row (aka Payload) which you want to edit.. then right click on each pylon slot and select what weapon to add... at least you got it sorted out.

Windows 11 Home | Asus TUF Gaming B850-Plus WiFi | AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D + LC 360 AIO | MSI RTX 5090 LC 360 AIO | 55" Samsung Odyssey Gen 2 | 64GB PC5-48000 DDR5 | 1TB M2 SSD for OS | 2TB M2 SSD for DCS | NZXT C1000 Gold ATX 3.1 1000W | TM Cougar Throttle, Floor Mounted MongoosT-50 Grip on TM Cougar board, MFG Crosswind, Track IR

Sounds strange, if I right-click on a pylon in a non-selected row, it selects the row and brings up the context menu to select the munition. Only one click needed.

Do you really need to RIGHT-click on the row to get it to work, or does left-clicking to select the row first and then right-clicking also work? Or do you always need two right-clicks to get the menu to appear?

before i was left clicking the row name then trying to right click the munitions box

That did not work for me

So i tried right click the row name and then right click the munition box and it worked

I have no idea why

One thing I did do was change from a wired mouse instead of the wireless I had before

probably the wireless mouse is screwed up

Also NOW i tried right click directly to the munition box and it works

It must have been the wireless mouse

Sorry my bad, you just need to right click on pylon to select weapon, payload (row) will be selected automatically

one prob I've noticed is that the name "New Payload" brings up a box message that the name is not unique ?

Same Problem here. It's a serious bug. The only possible solution I've found is to delete the whole mission and start over from the beginning. Any payload names used in a single mission are becoming "used" even if they've been deleted already. As it's not possible anymore to edit the missions with Notepad++ or any other editor, the devs have to do something about this.

BTW it's possible to create the "New Payload" for any plane, but just once. Once deleted, it's not possible to create it again in the same mission.
