Scooternutz Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 Hello all, I have had this problem twice now with 1.0.2: I will be flying and all of the sudden I go black on both screens. The game doesn't shutdown and it does recover. I get a little notice from Windows stating my graphics adapter has shut down and windows recovered it. I am attaching my system specs. Has anyone had this problem? 71st_Mastiff Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 (edited) Scooter its the NVIDA drivers I get the same issue and usually its heat related.. Its because of all those monitors your running.. Isnt Vista 64bit on SP2? you might want to upgrade that too. you can try a clean install of your video drivers use guru3d.com and down load the latest driver sweeper in the utility section. Also EVGA has a nice tool for keeping your Nvidia fan running faster to cool off your card, the one NVIDIA use's doesn't work. Temps on my card hit 100c. that's almost 200f. I also took the card apart and re-thermaled the GPU with tuniq TX-2 that helped need to sign up at this site for the EVGA fan tool. http://www.evga.com/precision/ works on all nvidia based cards. http://downloads.guru3d.com/Guru3D---Driver-Sweeper-(Setup)-download-1655.html Edited May 21, 2010 by Mastiff " any failure you meet, is never a defeat; merely a set up for a greater come back, " W Forbes "Success is not final, failure is not fatal, it is the courage to continue that counts," Winston Churchill " He who never changes his mind, never changes anything," MSI z690 MPG DDR4 || i9-14900k|| ddr4-128gb PC3200 || MSI RTX 4080S|Game max 1300w|Win11| |turtle beach elite pro 5.1|| ViRpiL,T50cm2||MFG Crosswinds|| VT50CM-plus rotor Throttle || G10 RGB EVGA Keyboard/MouseLogitech || PiMax Crystal VR || 32 Asus||
