ATC & AWACS audio through USB headset, all other audio through main speakers?

Is it possible to mod a config file or something to point audio to different outputs. I want ATC and AWACS on my headset and all other external sounds in my main speakers.

 

Flight Simulator allows for this. Is it possible in Lomac? I saw another post about sound splitting, but it was from 2005 and mainly just about putting TS or Ventrilo into the headset.

 

Any help appreciated, even if it's to say "not possible".

Hmm.. I would like this too, especially TS thru headset, everything else from the mains, but I think I will need a USB headset for this to work.

I think most folks use a USB headset these days, so getting TS or Ventrilo to output separate from the mains is easy. It's splitting the in game audio that I am after.

i am not sure if i understand you correct smokey,..i can use this ts headset solution only with a second audiochip,..the awacs ingame, i think you have to define the output channel for the single ingame sources,and this option is afaik not implemented in the sim on actual patch release..ithink it s not so easy as requested in this topic:smartass:
