shackman Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 Is FC 2 easy to still use if you dont have track ir? [sIGPIC]http://www.vrsimulations.com/images/sigbanners/vrs_supporter.png[/sIGPIC]
Fahhh Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 It's not that different compared to FC1, so if you did well there, you'll do well in FC2 too. In BVR fights TrackIR is not that important, you mostly keep your eyes on your instruments, but when you close in, and your eyes should be out there looking for the bandit visually, then it makes a huge difference :)

thaFunkster Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 Sigh, wish I had a trackIR, I have been playing Lock On without it for quite a while now, and disorientation during dogfights remains a problem. The biggest problem I have though is just plain not being able to see the enemy, even when not zoomed out. I dont think TrackIR would help a lot here, and this is one aspect where I think real life would be easier and ED might not have modelled the best solution. Funk on YouTube!
