vCUJOv Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 It would be nice for Cougar owner to be able to buy the warhog throttle only since they already own the stick. I'm mean I spent lot of money to get my cougar stick gimbals working properly, but a10 throttle would be nice addition for the new sim when it comes out.
Vekkinho Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 I feel your pain mate but did you pass this idea to TM? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
DTWD Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 Does the couger piggy back into the throttle? Regards [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Feuerfalke Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 Does the couger piggy back into the throttle? No. The TM-Cougar has the stick as central unit. Throttle connects to the stick-base, optionally rudders can be plugged into the stick-base as well. The stick is connected via USB to the PC. In theory it would be possible to sell the Warthogs throttle alone as both units, the stick and the throttle will have their own USB-connectors. I bet this offer will come sooner or later, but I also bet that the price for the throttle alone will still be quite high. Vekkinho Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 vCUJOv, Cougar and Warthog HOTAS are separate units with separate flash memory. You can plug only Cougar stick and Warthog Throttle to your computer. Cougar throttle and Warthog Stick are both disconnected from your computer to avoid any interference. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
