Cant control any plane

Hi i have installed FC2 and patched it. I created a Player Profile in Logbook. When i start a Mission, Quickstart or Campagne i only can wath the plain 3th person. Non of them has my Profile name on the bottom left. What do i do wrong?

Sounds like you are playing the game in GameMode. Either switch to simulation-mode in the settings or press F1 to enter a cockpit and leave the 3rd-Person-view.

F1 doasnt help, because i have no plain. Somehow the game doasnt give me a plane. I just reinstalled it and patched it, but its the same.

you will see a dialog box with F15c A10 and so on click one of them:thumbup:

i did, there is no other option anyways. But still. When you start a game, do you have cockpit view or do you have to switch thrue to your plane? I have no joystick, maby its because of that.

Don't know what to say, when I click quickplay I am in my jet right off the bat...:thumbup:

 

you sure you have a good copy of FC2

No you should be in the cockpit straight away on the quick start missions. I can't see how not having a joystick would affect this. I would suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the game (no need to activate or deactivate).

Roger but curious what the problem was and what he didn't fully tell us where we could have had a better understanding of his problem..bits and pieces does no good:music_whistling:

I am running into the exact same situation.

 

Whether I load Quick STart, or choose a random mission, i never get to control the plane. F1 doesn't work. F2-F11 works and i see airplans or objects on the ground

 

Any ideas?

I install without patch, same issue. I install with patch, same issue.

Gentlemen if you look in the Temp folder in the Lock FC2 directory you will see a file called LastMissionTrack.trk

 

Run the game for 1 or 2 minutes, when you have this error, exit the game, then Upload LastMissionTrack.trk so we can see what's happening.

The game doesn't crash. I can't control any planes. I tested Lock On and it works fine.
