Pigmachine Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 Is there a licence revoke tool anywhere? I'm setting up a new rig next week, and I already used up 2 activations on both flaming cliffs 2 and black shark. This time I'm going to try 64 bits win 7 for the first time, so there might go a few more activations during that process (if I'm clumsy) CPU i7-6700K 4,3Ghz, RAM Corsair Vengeance LPX 2666M 2x16GB, GPU Gigabyte Gaming G1 GTX 1080, Monitor Benq 24" 1920x1080 @ 144Hz, MB ASUS Z170-A, OS Win 10 Pro (Creators ED), HOTAS X52 Pro, VR Oculus Rift Cv1
Boberro Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 Use deactivations. Details are in quick manual pdf IIRC :) 1 Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D ಠ_ಠ ツ
Pigmachine Posted July 31, 2010 Author Posted July 31, 2010 (edited) Thanks .. will look through them. Just make a shortcut to protect.exe, and add the rest to it "C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\LockOn Flaming Cliffs 2\bin\x86\stable\protect.exe" /lic:deactivate key Edited July 31, 2010 by Pigmachine CPU i7-6700K 4,3Ghz, RAM Corsair Vengeance LPX 2666M 2x16GB, GPU Gigabyte Gaming G1 GTX 1080, Monitor Benq 24" 1920x1080 @ 144Hz, MB ASUS Z170-A, OS Win 10 Pro (Creators ED), HOTAS X52 Pro, VR Oculus Rift Cv1
Insanatrix Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 Just a quick tip. In Win7 don't install in the default program files x86 folder. it can cause problems when you patch to version 1.02.
Pigmachine Posted July 31, 2010 Author Posted July 31, 2010 Speaking of /x86/ My new rig will run a on a quadcore (instead of the slow dual I have now, and forgot to check if it was fully utilized), and in 64 bit Win 7.. Are multiple cores working fine, and are supported now? earlier I read earlier that you had to set affinity when game already was started. And do BS and FC2 work fine with 64 bit Win 7 ? Insanatrix Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 AFAIK it only uses 2 cores anyways 1 for the game and 1 for the sound engine. I use win7 64 home premium and it works fine here. I just don't install in program files because it can cause problems with patching and having to run as administrator and stuff. Win 7 gives you better performance in DCS than winxp.
