Has anyone played (flyed would be more precised :smilewink:) this campaign?

I am interessed in mission where you must do a CAP, and after steerpoint 3, you must intercept an Yak-40. What do i need to do after it land back on Batumi? Mission control says that i need to stay long enough so the Mi-8 could land and investigate, but it never reaches Batumi. It just approaches to approximaly 20 km, an then turns away, while his escorts (Mi-24V) circle around airfield, and they leave too. And nothing happens. There's a 2 flight's of F-16's (one pair is 50 km dead south, and other one isn't far from first one), and even when i engage them, mission control would remain silent: no word that i crossed in Turkish airpsace.

Hi Rambler,

I've seen a similar report about this on the Russian forum. I believe the Mi-8 route may be bugged. If you receive the message to wait for the Mi-8 to land, you have completed the mission successfully and it is the last mission of the campaign. Unfortunately, I don't think there is a fix for this besides editing the Mi-8 route and re-saving the mission.

I took another look and saw the mistake in the mission. There is a static georgian Yak-40 unit placed in Batumi and this is what is "scaring" the Mi-8 from landing on the FARP. If you can remove the static Yak in the ME, the mission should work. I'll upload a fixed version of the mission to the file exchange a little later.

I have different problem with 3rd mission, the one with clearing path for Tu-22M3 bombers. I managed to shot down all 8 F-16s and even E-3, land successfully but still the mission wasn't complete, I have no idea what else can be done here?

Because the goal of this mission is to protect friendly aircraft, the "task complete" message is sent once all 4 bombers are back in Russian airspace, which takes quite a while after the bombing run. Your task is to provide escort the entire time they are in enemy airspace.

Hey, removing that static Yak helped. Blowing things up could cause mission failure, and i don't want to play that mission more than it's needed..

Many thanks 'n' regards..

And so I did wait few times almost an hour of the in-game time after dealing with F-16s, is this really not enough time for the bombers to reach Russian airspace?

Why don't you post a track record of the mission?
