Time acceleration not working?

Hi

 

I am making custom missions and trying to test them out. I;m trying to accelerate the time using the keys listed in the controls as Z+Lctrl and nothing happens.

 

Am i doing something wrong?

I've never had any problems with the time acceleration keys. But, I have had some other minor problems that seemed to be related to not having saved a custom mission. All I can suggest is try the following to troubleshoot it.

If your L[Ctrl]+[Z] keys don't accelerate time in other missions, check those key assignments under Options.

If your L[Ctrl]+[Z] keys accelerate time in other missions, but aren't working in your missions then make sure that you Save the mission before playing it.

assuming it is still mapped as default in game

try holding "left cntrl" then hitting "z"

 

the more you hit z the more time accel

Also, if you have installed multiple languages and keyboard layouts, try hitting LCTRL+Y instead LCTRL+Z

accelerating time only works in single player/offline missions.

 

If you are testing an MP mission from within the multiplayer GUI time acceleration won't work.

You will have to fly that mission from within the SinglePlayer GUI to be able to accelerate the time.
