leafer Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 Thrustmaster: T.16000M Thrustmaster: T.Flight Hotas X Saitek Cyborg V1 Flight Stick Saitek Cyborg X Stick Which is the best for the money? ED have been taking my money since 1995. :P
shu77 Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 Personally I would say the Cyborg X as it has 2 throttles, which will be useful for DCSW but would go the HOTAS X because it has a full size HOTAS. Having a proper throttle increases your experience dramatically, stuff like a2a refueling, or landings, where you need fine throttle control are so much easier Hornet, Super Carrier, Warthog & (II), Mustang, Spitfire, Albatross, Sabre, Combined Arms, FC3, Nevada, Gulf, Normandy, Syria AH-6J i9 10900K @ 5.0GHz, Gigabyte Z490 Vision G, Cooler Master ML120L, Gigabyte RTX3080 OC Gaming 10Gb, 64GB RAM, Reverb G2 @ 2480x2428, TM Warthog, Saitek pedals & throttle, DIY collective, TrackIR4, Cougar MFDs, vx3276-2k Combat Wombat's Airfield & Enroute Maps and Planning Tools
leafer Posted August 26, 2010 Author Posted August 26, 2010 Thanks. What joystick are you using if you don't mind me asking. ED have been taking my money since 1995. :P
shu77 Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 I had a cyborg evo force up until recently when I go a very cheap X-52 on E-bay. You cant believe the difference that it makes until you have one. Im not fudging landings through not having throttle control anymore, and once you adjust to the button presses its very responsive. I've kept the Evo-force for MSFS, but yeah the full size hotas is key. leafer Posted August 26, 2010 Author Posted August 26, 2010 Yeah. my girlfriend can hit very hard so no full blown hotas, yet. I truly wish there's a normal looking joystick at a reasonable price. I don't need it to be metal and decked with buttons, but for the love of god, be normal looking. A replica of an old warbird sitck or something from the vietnam era would be great. Deadman Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 then pick up a SFS suncom set split throttle and a F-15 style stick I have a new one in the create i will sell you:thumbup: https://forum.dcs.world/topic/133818-deadmans-cockpit-base-plans/#comment-133824 CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans.
