Scabbers Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 nice pics. the AAR-47 is not really an antenna per say but more like a sensor? The 47 is a passive detection system. The sensors are all around the aircraft to give a 360 dergeee strobe radius for detection of threat rocket exhaust and initiates flares automatically. Electro optical sensor Now where is that speed brakes control again? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Deadman Posted August 31, 2010 Author Posted August 31, 2010 I never said the ARR-47 was an antenna, it is integrated in to the AN/ALQ-213(V) EWMS for the control of flairs and chaff. https://forum.dcs.world/topic/133818-deadmans-cockpit-base-plans/#comment-133824 CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans.
Scabbers Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 not exactly correct but close enough everything else was listed as an antenna I just added some clarity for those not in the know. Geeeze. don't get your panties in a bunch ;) Now where is that speed brakes control again? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
