i can't find the lower part of the seat

 

Take a look at KA-50 INTERIOR ENG.BMP and KA-50 PANEL R.BMP.... the cow skin... :)

hello dragon,

does that mean that BS takes the lower part of seat from the original"KA-50 PANEL R.BMP" and mix it with the "KA-50 PANEL R ENG.BMP" so the mod needs the two files?

The seat is splitted in three parts: Backrest (first picture), Seat area and Head rest (second picture).

Sorry, I posted the first picture of the english cockpit and the second picture of the russian cockpit.

Of course there are two files for russian and two files for english:

 

 

 

KA-50 INTERIOR ENG.BMP = Backrest for the english cockpit

KA-50 PANEL R ENG.BMP = Seat area (lower cow skin) and Head rest (upper cow skin) for the english cockpit.

 

KA-50 INTERIOR.BMP = Backrest for the russian cockpit

KA-50 PANEL R.BMP = Seat area (lower cow skin) and Head rest (upper cow skin) for the russian cockpit.

hello dragon,

interior english is ok, as you can see the medium vertical part apears in game.

panel R eng let only the vertical top part apear not the redone low horizontal part.

Hm... I edited the Sharkpit for a squadron member with this cow skin.

It was a long time ago and I thought the cow skin was visible on all three parts.

I edited the english and the russian cockpit.

 

I will call the squadron member and ask him if the cow skin is visible on all three parts.

 

Maybe the texture of the seat area (low horizontal) is used from the russian cockpit files?

 

We will see, I will tell you once I have a answer.

thks dragon.

something i did with the night light version, was to reduce the intensity of light

to increase the visual comfort during night flights.

you have much more capacity to see outside details.

i talk about that because i think that you had a question about night jauge colors

few month ago.

Just to confirm Ricardo ... the switch below the navigation panel ... it's labeled "I-251V - OVERFLY" and not "INU - UPDATE", right? The "INU-UPDATE" label is an error in the Dragon SharkPit and I hope it stays in that pit only, and doesn't spread to other pits. :)

 

could you send me a screenshot, i couldn't locate that inscription.

i talk about that because i think that you had a question about night jauge colors

few month ago.

 

I asked you what's the color of the instrument light. In the original cockpit it is yellow, in the Sharkpit it is turquoise.

 

I would prefere the yellow or white one.

(Please note: I'm not the author of the Sharkpit! The author of the Sharkpit was "TangoRomeo". I only edited the mod and I'm not able to change the color of the instrument lights without a heavy loss of details.)

 

RICARDO: My second request some months ago was the UGM-B plate I added on the back-panel of the Sharkpit-Mod.

This is not an error.

Please check the original english cockpit.

 

 

Manual Page 6-65:

22. “И-251В - ПРОЛ” (I-251V Shkval – Fly over INU update) switch. Mode of operation for INU correction. When set to "И-251В", INU coordinates will be corrected using the Shkval optics. When set to "ПРОЛ", the coordinates will be corrected by over-flying a reference point. [RCTRL + V]

I got a answer of me squardron member. All parts of the seat was cow skin, so it should work as described.

I will check my files today evening. Maybe there is an other file I overlooked...

and it didn't change that problem at all.

You need:

KA-50 INTERIOR ENG.BMP (english) for the back rest (middle part vertical).

KA-50 PANEL R ENG.BMP (english) for the head rest (upper part vertical).

KA-50 PANEL R.BMP (russian) for the seat area (lower part horizontal) you are searching for.

Like I know you have to exchange the original cdds files with your moded cdds files (with HD resolution textures). Right?

So why you don't increase the resolution of the russian cockpit textures too, but without changeing the level of detail (only of the shared parts) and add it also to the cdds into your mod?

 

Or... you exchange the russian cockpit textures with the english cockpit textures.

So you only have to copy/paset the english textures you improved.

The effect is that the user will have only a english cockpit, also if he switched to the russian cockpit he will see no cyrillic letters.

 

I hope you understand my english....

hello,

the mod is actualy on test at the 16 th black reapper.

It is working very well and the testers says that it is a completly new experience.

i have details that they notice and that i have to fix.

draggon, i made a first install with a mod that i called russian cockpit correction.

this mod includes the files

KA-50 PANEL R.BMP

and russian hud.tga

 

then i made a second install over that mod including

KA-50 INTERIOR ENG.BMP

KA-50 PANEL R ENG.BMP

and of course all the other files of my eng mod.

that solved the problem i had since the begining with the helmet sensor close to the hud but not the horizontal part of the seat.

so finaly i put the KA-50 PANEL R.BMP in the file temp texture and i had the horizontal part in game.

that's not a real solution so i still have to try different things.
